One of my bigger priorities is addressing the carbon emissions that are a result of the energy used to produce this program and serve up the digital assets from the cloud. It's for this reason that 50% OF ALL DONATIONS will be redistributed to these and other high-rated non-profit organizations dedicated to dramatically reducing the carbon dioxide in our atmosphere, and in our oceans, lakes, and rivers.
The other half of your donation goes towards the operating expenses and promotional budget to further expand the reach of The Relay Station. Your donation helps cover things like fees associated with radio distribution, advertisements in music publications, cloud hosting fees, and other costs that I incur along the way. When you donate to the program, you're supporting the amazing artists we play on the program.
Additionally, your continued and ongoing support will help me expand the reach of The Relay Station and make the program available through more costly, but more highly visible services like NPR's ContentDepot and PRX's automated content delivery, along with the costly Multimedia Liability Insurance required for broadcasting on networks like NPR.
